Boulder Deconstruction – a dba of Haul Away Recycling, Inc – is on a mission. We don’t want to just to fulfill Boulder County’s zero-waste regulations. Our goal is to go beyond external requirements and follow our passion for carefully dismantling and preserving our heritage. From old growth beams and wide-planked wood floors to leaded glass windows and architectural features from eras gone by, our goal is preservation for reuse. Preservation because we care. And because we love what we do.

It is always a surprise when we show up to a new job site. We never know what we will find when we pull the drywall back, or take up the linoleum! Every job is different and unique, and we find that engaging and inspiring!

At times, homeowners leave behind salvage that reuse companies will not take. We remove everything from a site before we begin the deconstruction, and that often leaves us with items we weren’t expecting but thoroughly appreciate! Items like wood burning stoves with Victorian era embellishments, or gazebos that are fully intact.
